POSITION: B2B Direct Sales Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE

Purpose of this role is to lead the Kigali freelancer’s team which is consisted of 10 teams and their team leaders. The person selected of this role is expected to be responsible for meeting and exceeding the sales targets as defined in the annual budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and exceed the sales target, whilst conducting a minimum of 3 visits daily
  • Execute the Tigo sales performance management guidelines
  • Select, train and evaluate freelancers and team leaders
  • Provide sales with on the job training through conducting joint visits and coaching sessions
  • Personally responsible for building a healthy sales pipeline for the entire team whilst owning the reporting to management
  • Capable of cascading the overall targets to the freelancer level
  • Design sales plan that would ensure achieving the desired quality of sales, product penetration / mix
  • Capable of amending and modifying throughout the year that way that would ensure achieving the overall targets
  • Support B2B marketing team with constructive feedback around product details, customer experience, pricing, competitive market share, competition tactics the way that would enhance Tigo competitive positioning
  • Capable to recommending concrete amends on the incentive model, whilst designing sales contests / acceleration programs

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales or retail management preferably in the Telecom / ICT Sector
  • Managed large sales teams
  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering or the equivalent
  • Excellent reading and writing and presenting in English Language
  • Corporate level proficiency in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, official e-mailing and computer skills, etc.
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Experienced with the Rwandan market
  • Strong communication skills whilst being capable of modifying his/her message to fit different levels in the organization
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • High level of professionalism
  • Experienced in setting Sales Strategies and Operational plans
  • Had successful track of leading sales unit roles with monthly targets in commercial units
  • Experienced in managing projects that includes multiple stakeholders
  • Successful track of managing teams directly and indirectly
  • Experienced in complex sales, conversions and tailored offerings
