Job responsibilities

•Provide regular direction and leadership to subordinates; •Supervise the implementation of the planned activities of the program; •Evaluate the activities of the subordinates and advise them for the improvement; •Submit the periodical evaluation reports of the activities of Complex Facilities •Guide the development and implementation of policies on construction and rehabilitation of Complex Facilities and coordinate relevant stakeholders; •Guide the elaboration, approval and coordination of feasibility and technical studies for the construction, upgrading and refurbishment of Complex Facilities; •Guide the assessment of structural conditions of Complex Facilities; •Advise the management on policies and strategies to develop the construction projects of the Complex Facilities; •Guide the preparation of terms of reference /technical specifications of the studies to be carried out; •Oversee the compliance and the validation sessions of deliverables to the contract and their availability to the purpose; •Oversee the design and supervision of Complex Facility projects where the consultancy services are not required; •Oversee the compliance of deliverables to the contracts and the smooth handover of the works done; •Guide the preparation of the terms of reference for the recruitment of the consultant in charge of supervision of Complex facility projects implementation; •Guide the supervising firm along the contract lifespan to ensure the quality of the outputs; •Orient requests for technical support to the staff under the Program; •Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
