Having proof of teaching experience from a recognized institution of higher learning at least 3 ,5 ,7 and 9 years of teaching experience for Lecturer, senior Lecturer, Associate Lecturer and Professor respectively. 3. Having successfully supervised at least 3 master’s students for a Senior Lecturer or 5 PhD students for Associate Professor since last promotion as Senior Lecturer and 5 PhD students for Professor since las promotion as Associate Professor 6. Having A teaching portfolio assessed as satisfactory for Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor and Having A teaching portfolio assessed as Excellent for Professor. 4. Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education is required.
