Job description

Ensure all data cleaning of all programmatic data, routine data and data from studies and surveys for Tuberculosis and other respiratory communicable disease Division
• Conduct data analysis for TB&ORD Division as well as secondary data
• Be responsible for data validation sent from health facilities, including verify data for accuracy.
• Oversee the first level all the analysis of data initiated in Tuberculosis and other respiratory communicable disease division
• Participate in strategic planning of research projects for Tuberculosis and other respiratory communicable disease Division
• Assist TB&ORD division in designing research projects, studies or survey
• Participate in reports and publications the TB&ORD Division
• Provide technical assistance to TB&ORD division to disseminate the report and feed back to the district
• Maintain high level of confidentiality while handling this data.
• Ensure the prevention of loss of Data.
• Handling other activities on request.
• Report, upon request or without request, any problems encountered in the data management.

In collaboration with MOH entities, :
– Ensure follow up of completeness of TB quarterly report in HMIS
– Collaborate in the framework of complementary and harmonization of data management from other databases of MOH/HMIS/TRAC NET.
– Check and monitor the quality of data and quarterly statistics and quarterly analysis in collaboration with specialized institutions of the MOH and RBC/PMEBS division.

 

Laboratory Operations Senior Officer Under Statute at RWANDA BIO MEDICAL CENTER(RBC): (Deadline 30 January 2023)

Job description

1. Monitor Day to day blood products inventory nationwide and propose corrective actions to Head of Division whenever there is imbalance between request and supply.
2. Coordinate and give technical support to the laboratories network
3. Ensure the Biosafety in the laboratories network
4. Follow up the implementation of appropriate corrective actions in the laboratories network
5. Ensure the proficiency testing is carried out in the laboratories network
6. Ensure appropriate training is provided to lab staff and their competency assessed.
7. Ensure the compliance with Quality management system and other appropriate regulations in the laboratories network.
8. Conduct research aimed at continual improvement.
9. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of division

– Ensure external quality control program is in place to prove reliability and accuracy of NCBT testing methods

Job description

Job description

Elaborate the annual plan of blood collection activities
– Plan weekly and monthly activities related to blood donor mobilization;
– Organize contact networks necessary for blood donor mobilization activities;
– Develop partnership with schools, churches, public and private organization and local government authorities to promote regular blood donation;
– Prepare relevant tools for blood donor mobilization campaign;
– Organize conferences and other meetings for donor mobilizations;
– Organize regular meetings and conferences in schools(secondary and universities), keep a tag with them out of schools and during holidays;
– Elaborate weekly and monthly schedule for blood collections, taking in account needs in blood for transfusion;
– Perform the pre-donation counseling and blood donor education;
– Perform blood donor recruitment in the area served by the RCBT;
– Participate in the elaboration of documents needed for donor recruitment and donor selection,
– Ensure compliance with quality requirements in his/her service;

– Ensures a steady supply of Blood and Blood products to all Transfusing Health
facilities in the catchment area.

– Ensures an adequate pool of Blood donors to satisfy Hospital needs.
In collaboration with the laboratory team:
– Ensures a constant supply of Blood and Blood products.
In collaboration with the NCBT Logistics Manager:
– Ensures a steady supply of all logistical materials related to Blood Collection activities.

N.B: Having a training certificate in Blood Transfusion is an added advantage.
