3. UNU-International Institute for Global Health Policy Research Fellowship 2024/2025

UNU-lIGH’s research interrogates power and gender asymmetries that lead to inequitable and unjust health outcomes in (a) the system of global health governance (b) gendered health systems, (c) digital health security and governance, and (d) climate emergencies and just transitions. 8. CDC Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) 2025

The Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) is a 2-year paid fellowship to apply information science and technology to the practice of public health. Public health informatics is the systematic application of knowledge about systems that capture, manage, analyze, and use information to improve population-level health outcomes. PHIFP provides on-the-job training for professionals to apply expertise in computer science, data analytics, and data science to public health to address current and future public health needs.

20. Kiplinger Fellowship 2025 for Journalists (Funded)

The 2025 fellowship will focus on artificial intelligence. They will explore how it can be used appropriately for journalism and its impact on reporting writing, data journalism and sourcing. Areas of focus will include: ethics and public trust, writing and editing with AI, Al and data, Al for audio and imaging, fakespotting Al images and much more. Kiplinger Fellows typically spend a week in April on Ohio University’s main campus in Athens, where they can engage and learn from the top trainers and leading experts in the field.
