Application are open for 2021 HSE Global Scholarship in Russia – Funded. The application is open to all and the deadline is 30th October 2021.
Global Scholarship Competition is your chance to become an HSE University student in December already! In 2021/2022 academic year, HSE GSC is held in 14 subjects. Participation is free. Competitions are held in-person and online. Results are valid for 2 years. You don’t have to pay any fees to take part in the Competition. The Competition includes one round only. You may either attend the Competition venue in person or participate in a long-distance mode.

- Registration: May 24 – October 10, 2021
- Preparations to the Competitions: June 01 – October 01, 2021
- Participation in Competition: October 20 – October 30, 2021
- Competition Results: December 6, 2021
5 steps to take part in the Competition
- View the ‘How to Apply’ section for undergraduate programmes and select your programme. If you wish to pursue a Russian-taught undergraduate programme at HSE and you do not speak Russian, you should first take a one-year preparatory course at HSE (HSE International Preparatory Programmes).
- Complete the required online registration
- Identify relevant subjects (fields of study), depending on your choice of degree programme
- Take part in the Competition in respective subjects (fields of study) in one of the countries outside Russia and in Russia (personal attendance) or in a long-distance mode according to the Schedule
- Get your Competition results and learn more about your opportunities for admission to HSE undergraduate programmes

Eligibility
International Venues:
- International (non-Russian) citizens, and stateless persons
- Participants must be enrolled in either grades 10-11 of high schools for 11-year programmes or grades 11-12 for 12-year programmes
- International high school graduates are also welcome to apply
- All participants must be under 30 years-old
Domestic Venues (Russia):
- Expats living in Russia
- All participants must be under 30 years-old
