Job Description
• To prepare, promote and coordinate all activities of agricultural sector wide initiatives to improve seed access;
• To prepare, promote and coordinate all activities of agricultural extension for seed use in collaborationwith MINAGRI agencies ,project and other Stakeholders;
• To initiate urgent mechanisms aimed at availing affordable seed on time;
• To convene and facilitate private sector and government actors to broker partnership to increase rural access to appropriate seed;
• Develop field ready Strategies to increase smallholder farmer’s knowledge and use of appropriate seed;
• Strengthen the private sector role in demonstrating the benefits of using appropriate seed;
• Assist in measuring progress of seed
– use related activities;
• Develop and Strengthen relationship between Farmers and seed dealer;
• Collaborate closely with other partners that operate in input area to facilitate farmers access to improved seed;
• Work closely with local government to ensure farmer access to improved seed affordable and timely;
• To ensure provision of advice and technical assistance to local government in the implementation of seasonal planned activities for seed distribution and use;
• To produce regularly report on the availability and distribution of appropriate seed for seasonal preparation;
To perform other related dutiesas may be assigned by the management of the Ministry.

Job Description
– To advise on appropriate policies for private sector development and prepare draft policy papers;
– To act as liaison with relevant Ministries and Agencies working in the promotion of investment and export promotion;
– To develop coordination and consultative mechanisms and processes for private sector;
– To assess the potential for private sector development, identify gaps, as well as future expansion in existing sub sectors, and advice on appropriate interventions;
– To evaluate private bankable projects for adoption by private sector entities;
– To mobilize and investigate new sources of funding, foreign, domestic, public and private;
– To develop mechanisms and incentives for private sector financing;
– To establish and develop working relationships with partners in the private sector
– To mobilize private sector investment in the agriculture sector
– To prepare and update a national database of private sector involvement in the agricultural sector;
Job Profile
A0 in Agribusiness, Agriculture Economics with 3 Years of working Experience or Master’s Degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture

Job Description
Provide technical leadership to the development and implementation of Programs within the Strategic Planning and Programs Coordination,
– Work closely with other units within MINAGRI, its agencies and projects,
– Serves as a key advisor in agriculture related policy formulation, analysis, implementation and dissemination,
– Maintain an active and dynamic policy dialogue with other Government institutions and private sector to facilitate technical discussions and engage in effective policy development and change in agriculture,
– Draft policy documents and write policy briefs on a regular basis,
– Coordinate meetings on key issues related to agriculture policy,
– Be responsible for Agriculture Sector Working Group meetings (preparation, reporting and following up recommendations)
– Work closely with Non
– Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies and Development Partners for the development of Agriculture Sector;
– Report on the status of all Non
– Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies and Development Partners operating in theAgriculture Sector;
– Assist the Director of Strategic Planning and Programs Coordination to:
