Community and Family Based Support Specialist at National Child Development Agency ( NCD): (Deadline 22 October 2024)
Job responsibilities
• Work closely with service providers to ensure the development of a comprehensive model for family tracing • Support the district staff, partner organizations, and Programme stakeholders to identify alternative care options for children • organize and report on the training of prospective caregivers • Coordinate Programme partners for the effective provision of consistent tailored reintegration packages and support services for children and families • Ensure strong linkages between children and their families and existing social protection schemes and mechanisms • Initiate and support the establishment of partnership mechanisms between the public and private sector for the provision of alternative care services • Provide support in the identification and training of community childcare workers • Support in the establishment of prevention mechanisms for child abandonment, child institutionalization, and child protection at the community level • Provide technical support to District Social Workforce and community childcare workers to plan, deliver, and monitor psychosocial support and other types of support at the community level. • Support the development of technical publications, reports, communication material, and other program documentation. • Provide technical assistance and facilitate the transformation process of institutions into alternative facilities including community-based services for children and families • Assist the programme team in developing and reviewing monthly plans and priorities • Coordinate field-related activities, trainings, and other workshops for the team. • Organize and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual Programme Coordination meetings and ensure the timely preparation of annual program status reports. • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on program implementation, progress, and impact. • Participate in information exchange with development partners, stakeholders and media visits as well as in the development of training and orientation materials. • Organize documentation of case studies demonstrating successful program interventions and outcomes. • Contribute to building and maintaining multi-disciplinary working relationships, strategic and operational partnership with health, social protection and education sectors, local government, Police and civil society to ensure that multi-organization work maximizes the impact of frontline service delivery. • Contributes to Develop partnerships and collaboration with internal and external counterparts in order to exchange information on programme status and implementation. • Contribute to maintaining a strong collaboration with Programme partners, Districts, Children’s center managers, and other relevant program stakeholders to establish and maintain sound internal controls supportive of programming endeavors and to coordinate financial and supply management requirements and accountability. • Plan, develop and implement program activities by collaborating with the program stakeholders and providing leadership in the provision of technical advice, negotiation, and advocacy leading to agreement on practicable and priority actions of the TMM program • Provide supportive supervision to the child protection and Welfare officers on the operationalization of the CP Case management framework. • Support and supervision of the friends of the Family in the implementation of their roles and responsibilities in the community • Organize and conduct the training for Friends of family across the country.

National Case Management Specialist at National Child Development Agency ( NCD): (Deadline 22 October 2024)
Job responsibilities
• Coordinating and overseeing the caseload of children and families referred to the child protection case management system at the national level and ensuring that cases are properly documented, tracking progress towards case plan goals, and ensuring that families receive the services they need; • Work in close collaboration with Child Protection and Welfare officers, local leaders, partners, and community child protection structures that will support case management, child abuse prevention, and response services. • Provide technical support for partnership management for Child Protection implementing partners related to child protection- including capacity building, management, implementation, monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and quality assurance • Developing and implementing case management systems and procedures tailored to the needs of children. • Monitoring progress in the Child Protection Case Management Information Management System (PCIMS), providing ongoing support, and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of children. • Conduct child protection case management and provide proper integrated services • Coordinating with other professionals and agencies involved in child protection case management, including law enforcement, social services, healthcare providers, teachers, and NGOs. • Participating in case conferences, multidisciplinary teams, and interagency collaborations to ensure coordinated and holistic support for children and families. • Building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and service providers to enhance the availability and accessibility of child protection services. • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes for each child. • Document all interactions, decisions, and actions taken in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and child protection policies. • Generating reports and statistics for monitoring and evaluation purposes, as well as for compliance with reporting requirements. • Participate in Coordination meetings and ensure the timely preparation of annual program status reports; • Building the capacity of child protection frontline workers and community members to recognize and respond to child protection concerns effectively. • Contributing to the development and improvement of child protection policies, procedures, and programs at the national and local levels.
