Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Provide technical support for existing National ID system databases.
o Ensure daily and weekly backups and implementation of data redundancy across multiple database systems
o Ensure data synchronization across multiple sites and databases.
o Ensure data integrity across multiple databases.
o Implement comprehensive maintenance procedures for the database system and repair the damaged databases
o Implement database security policies including access authorization and authentication ;
o Provide daily support to other departments
o Provide training to new and existing users of the systems.
o Provide support to stakeholders connected to systems.
o Provide database tuning and monitoring database security, performance and utilization.
o Install and upgrade the database server and/or application tools
o Planning for and allocating the database system’s physical requirements (memory, disk space, network requirements,…)
o To perform any other assignment given to him/her by his/her supervisors.
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or A1 in ICT related filed with 2 years of working experience.
Key technical skills and knowledge required:
a) SQL/ MySQL Management knowledge,
b) Microsoft Server management knowledge,
c) Backup system knowledge,
d) Management of Identification database knowledge,
e) Familiar with big data, and/or SQL database systems Columna databases.

JOB AT NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION AGENCY : Legal Advisor : ( Deadline : 02 August 2019 )
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Develop legal and regulatory instruments of the institution
o Provide legal advice/opinion on litigious files engaging the NIDA and in the interest of the Institution
o Liaise with the NIDA and other Institutions in legal matters
o Conduct legal research
o Carry out regular monitoring of civil registration operationalization and effective implementation in accordance with the laws;
o Ensure civil status records are issued in conformity with provisions of the law;
o Ensure all declarations made before the civil registrars are recorded properly and in conformity with the law;
o Advise on the application of legal instruments that govern healthcare services delivery;
o Provide practical legal opinions to ensure that the appropriate legal approach is taken on arising matters in accordance with existing laws;
o To provide technical support to Districts administration in handling issues related to civil registration;
o To organize for regular Capacity building programs for Local Government Civil registration personnel;
o Collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure high Standards of Service delivery with regard to civil registration;
o To perform any other assignment given to him/her by his/her supervisors.

c) Knowledge of Substantive law and legal Procedures;

e) Experience in contract drafting and negotiation;

h) Computer skills
i) Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and /or French.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Prepare annual audit plan;
o Prepare a risk based audit plan;
o Design the audit plan with clear timing;
o Ensure that the annual audit plan is approved by management of the institution and submitted to MINECOFIN;
o Review of financial statements ( Monthly and Annually);
o Provides Findings to the units under audit;
o Provides final reports to the Director General;
o Gives advice on the appropriateness of accounting records and financial reporting;
o Carrying out annual systems audits;
o Following up audit recommendations;
o Summarizes Internal Audit activities in a consolidated report to be submitted to the audit committee;
o Carry out compliance audit;
o Provide advisory services.
