JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Lawyers of hope is a Non-Governmental Organization with the mission to seek and reach out to the most vulnerable members of the Rwandan Society, in particular Children, Prisoners, Women and other needy people, to seek justice on their behalf, and to share with them Christ Love and compassion.
The Network of Lawyers of Hope is seeking to recruit 2 qualified, dedicated and experienced
Rwandan national Project facilitators to fulfill the following duties:
1. Job Title: Project Facilitators (2)
2.Location: Rwamagana, Ngoma, Nyarugenge, Kirehe, Ruhango, Nyabihu, Rusizi, Gicumbi, Gakenke, Gasabo, Nyamagabe, Huye, Rubino
.
3. Period: 1 year
4. Responsibilities:
The post holder will be responsible for the following:
Provide support to project coordinator on day to day basis in the delivery of the project goals.
Prepare necessary trainings for all project targeted groups in collaboration with the project coordinator
Facilitate coordination of friends of family (Inshuti Z’Umuryango) activities in Districts, sectors, cells and conduct visits to field as necessary in consultation with the project coordinator.
Provide administrative and logistic support to the team for field visits and respective project activities.
Establish and maintain the project’s information management system including developing and maintaining appropriate paper and electronic filing systems, including files, correspondence and reports for reference and efficient operation of the office.
Provide monthly report on time
Provide logistical support for all project training courses,
Follow up on received cases related to child abuse in the project area
Conduct regularly meeting with friends of the family and social affairs from sectors and districts and other partners to exchange on project implementation
Follow up with the implementing partner for progress reports, submission of reports
Work closely with project coordinator efficient monitoring and reporting of the project deliverables.
Maintain in good condition all the project assets put in his/her disposal for the successful delivery of the project.
Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Project coordinator
5. Key Competencies:
University degree in social science, law or related field;
1 to 2 years’ experience/knowledge of child protection structures, advocacy and/or networking is essential;
Excellent verbal and written skill
Good project management skills,
Good facilitation, negotiation, networking and advocacy skills;
Good interpersonal skills, and high team working spirit;
Excellent in English and Kinyarwanda wrote and oral communication skills;
Computer literacy;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
To have strong leadership skills.
Should be able to teach others and communicate effectively
To be able to handle difficult situations
Able to work with a large group of people.

Rwandan national Project Coordinator to fulfil the following duties:

2.Location: Rwamagana, Ngoma, Kirehe, Kayonza, Gatsibo, Nyarugenge, Gasabo, Kicukiro, Gicumbi, Gakenke, Rulindo, Nyabihu, Ruhango, Huye, Nyamagabe, Nyaruguru, Gisagara , Nyamasheke, Rusizi, Karongi, Rutsiro, Ngororero
3. Period: 1 year
4. Responsibilities:
Support the development of capacity building plans for Child Protection partners.
Support in the coordination of friends of family(Inshuti Z’Umuryango) at District, sectors and cell level
Provide regular trainings on and project management skills to the project facilitators on the field.
Work with the Programme Manager to oversee implementation of friends of family project activities ensuring that services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with donor regulations
Ensure that friends of family members and District staff understand the requirements for implementation
Work with the Programme Manager to develop detailed implementation plans of the project
With the Programme Manager, monitor program progress against both programmatic and budgetary targets, making adjustments to programme design as necessary
As requested by the Programme Manager, prepare timely and high-quality project and donor reports on project activities in compliance with a memorandum of understanding requirements.
Support in Reviewing partner narrative and financial reporting as well as MEAL data
Undertaking ongoing capacity assessments of partner, reporting areas for the development of friends of a family project.
Actively monitor friends of family project activities at the field level,
Work with Programme Manager to ensure appropriate, timely and accurate data collection against agreed indicators to enable both internal and external reporting
5. Key Competencies:

Good project management skills,
Good facilitation, negotiation, networking and advocacy skills;

To have strong leadership skills.
