Job Purpose:
The role of the data scientist focuses on developing solutions to unique and challenging business problems. Job holder will primarily involve data mining, analysis and modelling, using an array of tools and techniques to solve the problems. The focus of the work is on leveraging both internally-generated data, and traditional or alternative data collected from secondary sources, to drive innovation, decision making and organisational strategy aimed at promoting financial inclusion.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Develop modelling solutions to challenging business problems, resulting in the organisation better understanding of the value of its own data, and using this to extend its client base to the traditionally financially excluded market.
Explore various techniques, on large volumes of data or unstructured data, to determine the most appropriate business solution.
Ensure that solutions are executable and can be interpreted in Business language.
Works with leaders of various business units and stakeholders to devise innovative information products and presents analyses in a compelling way.
Undertake data analyses to understand challenges and scope of work.
Build analytical tools to generate insight, recognise patterns and predict behaviour and delivers content direct to users of information products
To qualify for this role applicants must have the following:
Essential
1+ years’ experience in data analytics, modelling, and/or software development
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, computer science, statistics, or information technology. MS degree will be an added value.
Strong coding/software development skills
Strong mathematical and statistical skills
Understanding of and experience with using Big Data techniques
Experience of using a data warehouse and proficiency in SQL
Working knowledge of information technology environments, administration, policies and processes
Experience in R and Python
Machine learning and predictive modelling experience
Solid background in advanced analytical methods
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and creative and takes initiatives.
Working knowledge of financial and management accounting
Natural Language Processing experience
Knowledge/use of Hadoop, MapReduce and Apache Spark
Data Visualisation coding (e.g. D3.js)
Knowledge of H2O

Responsible for reviewing & monitoring the performance and profitability of the Bank’s Products (this includes any/ALL services used by customers) throughout their life cycle; produce any related, required & regular reports as and when required; present findings, recommendations to Management in a concise & insightful manner.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Produce business cases to support products (incl. Services) development;
Review and monitoring of the Bank’s products portfolio performance & profitability against the set metrics;
Data mining, modelling, analysis and reporting (daily, weekly or monthly) for supporting decisions making;
Benchmark products with the market / industry and all segments customers’ requirements (existing & prospects);
Provide any required support to the Products and Sales teams in their day-to-day work and for meeting expected deliverables throughout the products life cycle by availing regular & up to date insights;
Recommend Products features enhancements or portfolio rationalisation for ensuring efficiency and effectiveness;
Communicate regularly and effectively with all internal stakeholders and maintain constant engagement with the sales teams;
Engage third parties as may be required;
To qualify for this role applicants must have the following:
A University degree in business, Finance or any relevant related field;
At least 2 years’ experience in the financial sector or similar environment;
Products, Business or other Financial performance analytics experience;
Strategic and creative thinker;

Job Purpose:

Effective relationships management resulting in optimum clients satisfaction, retention and increase of share of wallet through cross-selling and up-selling of the Bank’s products.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Deep, continuous and up to date understanding of the market and the industry trends; of the economy performance and priorities; of sectors performance; of new developments and projects;
Identify and seize arising business opportunities thru high level market knowledge & intelligence;
Build and maintain a strong leads pipeline at all time and achieve a high conversion rate;
Grow the Corporates clients base by onboarding new relationships;
Existing clients’ wallet sizing for offering new products & services and increase share of wallet;
Cross-sell and Up-sell ALL Bank’s products especially transactional banking;
Achieve B/S, P&L as well as ratios budget / objectives e.g. revenue mix, non-performing level, etc.
Extended excellent service to clients and live by the Bank’s service charter standards;
Manage complaints in collaboration with business support units for timely and effective closure;
Enhance clients’ loyalty to ensure high retention and lower churn rate levels;
Comply with all Bank’s policies and procedures, laws & other regulatory requirements incl. Credit policy, loans/facilities processing and monitoring procedures, KYC/AML/STR procedures, etc.
Closely work with the origination teams by providing accurate & reliable customers’ information for proper credit appraisals, risks assessment and quality loans booking;
Assess, on regular basis, service delivery performance and propose to management enhancements and /or new products or services ideas for consideration;
Provide leadership to RMs in areas of expertise especially loans/facilities structuring;
