1. Network Administrator
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field.
At least 5 years of working experience in Network management.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools Solid understanding of network operating systems ( Cisco IOS)
Professional certification is an advantage (e.g. CCNP, CCNA,CISSP )
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Solid background in network administration and architecture
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Sharp troubleshooting skills
Good knowledge of information security management or related functions (such as IT audit or IT Risk Management), will be and added advantage
Good understanding of technical IT roles such as IT architecture, development or operations, with a clear and abiding interest in network administrator and or system controls;
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices Fully support,
Configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
Keep an eye out for needed updates.
Support and administer third-party applications.
Ensure network security and connectivity.
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency) and test for weaknesses
Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Resolve problems reported by end user.
Define network policies and procedures.
Specify system requirements and design solutions
Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Monitor network performance and integrity
Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
Maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environment informing human resource management, development, and labour relations.
Knowledge of the Hospital’s IT systems associated with human resource management and administration.
Proven ability to implement internal systems and controls to ensure sound operational management.
Proven computer literacy, including MSWord, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Proven report writing and presentation skills.
Proven skills related to the preparation and implementation of human resource-related plans.
To ensure that policies and guidelines are disseminated to all role players and stakeholders on leave management
Compile and manage leave plan from all, directorates, Department and Units
Carry out semester audit for employee’s absenteeism to inform decision making
Employee records are well keep and maintained in accordance with to hospital prescripts.
·To ensure Performance management system and tools administered in accordance with prescribed Hospital policy and within determined timelines.
Employee records managed in accordance with the legislative and regulatory framework
To processed Administrative transactions with approved compliance norms and standards and within determined timelines.
To formulate the Workplace Skills Plan
Implement systems and mechanisms for development planning
To administer the grievance process.

3. Biomedical Technician
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a diploma (A1) in Biomedical engineering
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in related field in a hospital setting.
Evidence of structured and professional career development
Must be registered with the relevant professional health body.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES.
Proven skills in the use database and information management
Excellent knowledge of legislation relating to bio medical related device management and associated health and safety legislation
Proven ability to carry out risk assessments and computer literacy
Knowledge of national standards and guidelines pertaining to medical devices.
Provide an inspection and preventive maintenance (IPM) schedule to all clinical departments.
Document and update the maintenance record for each medical equipment
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all medical equipment in their responsible area and update accordingly.
Inspect all defective medical equipment/devices.
Repair defective equipment/devices if possible.
Return irreparable equipment/devices to Biomedical Engineering workshop for disposal procedure as per the related policy.
Advise all related staff on procedure to be followed according to infection control protocol if healthcare equipment is contaminated and/or constitutes a biohazard.
Plan for replacement of equipment through the related policy on Medical Equipment Acquisition.
Review the progress and outcomes of the incident involving medical equipment safety and management.
Perform visual inspection and electrical safety tests of the patient-owned equipment as requested by end-user department.

A minimum of 2 years in research coordination in a research driven institution
A minimum of 3 publications or proof of submission in a medical/public health journal
Registration with a relevant professional body
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven competencies in the development and implementation of strategy across a number of areas.
At least one successful grant writing
Intermediate IT skills
Analytical skills for performing service development reviews and problem solving
Design, conduct, and review surveys to be used for hospital wide priorities and initiatives
Design survey instruments to use in program evaluations
Represent the interests of the Education, Training, and Research (ETR) Division internally with clinical senior academic researchers
Work collaboratively with other departments and schools on the use and interpretation of clinical data
Coordinate in-service research and research training to clinical and administration staff as requested.
Identify and promote professional growth opportunities for the staff
Develop and implement research policies, procedures, plans, and strategies in liaison with the Education, Training and Research Committee.
Establish, as part of the management team, priorities, strategies and action plans to achieve stated outcomes, goals and objectives
Assist clinicians in developing research ideas and grant writing
Monitor, and evaluate methods to ensure effective and efficient use of research funds
Ensure formulation of research budget is based on ETR Division action plan

Minimum of 3 to 5 working experience in interventional or Cath lab
Registered cardiovascular interventional specialist certificate with experience on coronary
Basic life support (BLS)Certificate
Advanced Cardiovascular life support certificate.
Registration with a relevant professional body
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work effectively with computer based charting and other clinical software programs
Ability to organize and synthesize new information and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrates sensitivity to customer needs and expectations.
Possesses critical thinking ,analytical skills and flexibility.
To assist the cardiologist on every case, while teaching and supervising junior Cath lab nurses
To ensure that patient needs are met and quality out comes are achieved
To participate in developing policies and procedure of the service,
Work closely with the unit manager for professional development of staff
Ensure equipment management of the service
Maintain quality, safety and patient monitoring of regulatory standards of care.
Maintain professional growth through appropriate training, seminars, workshops, conferences, and related activities.
Advise all Cath lab staff on procedure to be followed according to infection control protocol if healthcare equipment is contaminated.
