The Centre for Journalism has established Global Welcome Scholarship to support overseas students who study one of the MA programs detailed above.
The fund aims to recognize and support the international student community, and international ethos within the Centre for Journalism.
Benefits of Global Welcome Scholarship
This award provides a stipend of £2,500 to entrants who meet the eligibility conditions stated above. Successful applicants will get the scholarship in a single installment in the second term of the program.
Eligibility
- Have applied to study either of the following Taught MA courses: the MA in Multimedia Journalism; the MA in International Multimedia Journalism, for entry in September 2022
- Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes
- Also, be fully self-funding your studies
- Have firmly accepted an offer of a place in a taught MA course by the scholarship application deadline
- Moreover, submit an application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline
