Flinders University 2022 Business, Government and Criminology Honours Bursary: (Deadline 2 December 2022)
The College of Business, Government and Law has established an Honours Bursary to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student undertaking an Honours program at Flinders University. The number of bursaries available will be subject to funding. Approximately four bursaries will be available in 2023, normally two in each of the areas indicated below:
- Business/Commerce
- Government and International Relations
- Criminology/Bachelor of Law and Society
The bursaries are funded by the College of Business, Government and Law. The bursaries will continue as long as there is sufficient funding
About Flinders University
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Aim and Benefits of Business, Government and Criminology Honours Bursary
Each bursary will have a value of $5000 paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester. The number of bursaries will depend on the funding available.
Requirements for Business, Government and Criminology Honours Bursary Qualification
Applicants must be:
- Currently completing or have completed an undergraduate degree; and
- Accepted into a 36 unit Honours program, or the final 36 units of a four year Honours program in the College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University in the areas listed above for the specified academic year; and
- Enrolled full-time*; and
- In receipt of a means tested Commonwealth income support payment or be able to demonstrate financial hardship.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Business, Government and Criminology Honours Bursary
Where there are more eligible applicants than bursaries available, the bursary will be awarded based on academic merit. Selection will be made by a Committee, comprising the Vice-President & Executive Dean of the College of Business, Government and Law or nominee, the Teaching Program Directors of Business, Criminology and Government and the Honours coordinator.
Bursary recipients shall submit a final written report to the College of Business, Government and Law on their Honours research project within one month of completion.
