Semen Quality Assurance Technician Under Statute at RWANDA AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPEMENT BOARD (RAB): (Deadline 28 July 2023)
Job description
– Report to the National Animal Genetic Improvement Centre Division Manager;
– Formulate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from AI bulls, production, distribution until administration of quality semen;
– Undertaking regular maintenance of AI bulls, equipment, supplies and infrastructure for quality semen production;
– Coordinating needs assessment and planning for effective and efficient AI service delivery to all farmers in Rwanda;
– Implementing and reporting on approved activities in the production, distribution and administration of quality semen;
– Participating in and implementing approved human, equipment, and infrastructure development plans for increased effectiveness and efficiency in the production, distribution and administration of quality semen;
– Participating in the development of policies, strategies and guidelines for effective and efficiency production/sourcing; distribution and administration to end-users;
– Any other job related duties assigned by competent authorities

Advanced Diploma in Animal Sciences
0 Year of relevant experience

Advanced Diploma in Animal Production
0 Year of relevant experience

Diploma (A2) in Veterinary
10 Years of relevant experience

Advanced Diploma in Breeding Genetics
0 Year of relevant experience

Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Medecine
