Equip Rwanda Ltd is a company that aims to facilitate its clients with business training and hire- purchase of Equipment. Equip Rwanda focusses on the MSME Market currently mainly in Kigali and direct surroundings.
Client portfolio business manager
The client portfolio manager is responsible for a batch of 300 clients. The portfolio manager has a team of 2 -3 sales officers.
Responsibilities
- Acquire an maintain clients in the portfolio to a level of minimal 300 active clients.
- Ensure that the portfolio is performing well and has a total non performance rate of less then 3 % (this means lost income at the end of the complete cycle of renting of the equipment. one piece of equipment can be rented out more than once)
- Ensure that clients maintain the equipment on a high level;
- Acquire at least 20 paying clients per month for training
- Succeed at least 8 new high-quality rentals a month
- Maintain the performance of the portfolio on a high level, ensure close follow up on the clients
- Give daily guidance to the external an internal sales person and ensure a high-quality performance of the team
- Ensure a high-quality training as well as coaching of the clients
- Make sure that files are accurate and up to date
- Pro-active resolve challenges at the firm
- Contribute to the weekly ERL meetings
- Ensure that the IT system and files are of a high quality
Tasks
- Guide and coach, the external and internal sales officers and facilitate them so they can perform well
- Visit clients and conduct site visits of new clients
- Give high quality training and coaching to the clients
- Ensure that files of clients are accurate and up to date
- Make sure that clients receive regular updates about their payment performance as well as reminders for late payments
- Visit clients that show weak payment for more than 1 month
- Confirm made arrangements to the clients
- Contribute weekly on marketing of the company
- Ensure prompt reporting deadlines

- Age between 30 and 40 years old
- Outgoing person able to convince people and interact on a clear and honest way

- Well-informed on business trends
- Young, adaptive, and ready to embrace new challenges
- Self-motivated person who is responsible and can work under minimal supervision
Background Qualifications
- Minimal bachelor degree in business administration and or finance
- Minimal 7 years’ experience in working in the MSME sector either in training coaching and or banking credit
- Excellent computer skills, especially proficiency in Excel
- Fluently speaking in English and Kinyarwanda
