Who we are
KAMU Mutual Plan Ltd is a private housing company founded by Rwandans in 2014, that aims to provide the good quality and affordable houses to its members and improve their social and economic welfare.
This company has its birth from an informal savings organization, called KAMU, that has been co-founded in 2010 by five households of Amajyambere village in Kamatamu cell. It is based in Rwanda, and its office is located at Kacyiru sector, Gasabo district.
Since its creation up to date, the company has acquired properties and assets evaluated to 144 million Rwandan francs.
Opportunity
We are looking for a Manager for ensuring the overall achievement of the mission of the company.
Responsibilities and duties:
Under the supervision of Board of directors, the manager of Kamu Mutual Plan Ltd will be responsible for the following:
- Preparea 5-year business plan for the company, and ensure its implementation;
- Preparebudgets, annual plans, financial and operational reports;
- Ensurean accurate and timely accounting for expenditures and resources;
- Ensurethe implementation of the resolutions of the Board of Directors;
- Performall declarations required by the law (RRA, RSSB, ..) on regular basis;
- Preparecontracts with tenants, administer the collection and deposits of rents;
- Prepareand submit tender documents for supplying goods to government and private institutions;
- Developand administer a maintenance program for all properties;
- Keepand regularly update the shareholders registry;
- Developand administer business activities for increasing the shareholder value;
- Resolvingconflicts or complaints from customers and partners;
- Conduct aninventory for the stock and assets on regular basis;
- Analyseinformation and processes and developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’sdegree in business, Accounting, management, or related
- Professionalcertificate or undertaking professional courses like CPA, may be
- Experiencein accounting for a business
- Redactionskills of management documents like a business
- Experiencein using the Rwanda On-line E-procurement
- Strongunderstanding of business management, financial, and leadership
- Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Timeand project management
- Abilityto analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- Fluency in English
Contract terms: Open ended employment.
Remuneration:Performance-based compensation plan, where a decent salary and annual performance bonus per achieved targets will be paid to this position.
