Job Role & Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced female Headteacher who will lead our nursery school, based in Gashora, while also teaching the senior nursery class (ages 5-6). This role is suitable for someone who loves working with children, has a strong background in Early Childhood Development (ECD), and is ready to support and mentor teachers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Teach the senior nursery class (ages 5-6).
- Manage and support nursery teachers, teaching assistants, and staff.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure a nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with parents and the community to enhance children’s development.
- Ensure high-quality early childhood education in line with national standards.
Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about child-centered learning and development.
- Patient, creative, and energetic with excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work in a team and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
Qualifications
- University degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD).
- Experience in teaching and managing a nursery school.
