
Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship Mentorship Program 2025 for young innovators (Fully Funded) Deadline: 31 May, 2025
Applications are now open for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship Mentorship Program . Funded by Mercedes-Benz and implemented by The Do School, the beVisioneers fellowship program aims to make a positive and lasting impact on the environment by identifying promising young innovators from around the world, irrespective of background, and providing them with the training, mentoring, expert support and funding to realize their local projects for sustainable action.
In the short term, beVisioneers aims to establish a viable 12-month intensive fellowship program , starting in 2023 with a cohort of 100 diverse, young innovators, 80 percent of whom succeed in launching their projects for sustainable action by the end of the intensive period. The three-year goal of the program is to ramp up to 1000 new fellows per year, with 80 percent of them launching projects with measurable environmental impact.
Requirements
- Be between the ages of 16 and 28 at the time of applying (Only applicants who were born between January 13, 1996 and October 14, 2008 will be considered.)
- Strong command of English, as all program materials and interactions require working English.
- Have identified an environmental problem you want to tackle with concrete action.
- Reside in one of the following countries (citizenship is not required): Rwanda South Africa Tanzania Uganda Zimbabwe

- Not work for, or have a parent or guardian who works for Mercedes-Benz
Financial Support
At beVisioneers, you can qualify for financial support if
1. Your income is below the average income in your country , OR
2. The average income in your country is lower than the poverty line, based on the World Bank’s standards.
Types of Financial Support
There are 2 types of financial support that you have the option to apply for
1. Financial support for LIVING COSTS
- This support covers a basic income equivalent to 24 hours of work, adjusted to the cost of living in your country
- It also includes funds for local transportation to attend in-person meet-ups
2. Financial support for ONLINE ACCESS
- This support helps cover costs for internet access and technical equipment
- It ensures you have what you need to participate in the virtual aspects of the program
- You can use these funds for things like internet data, cables, electricity, a laptop, or repairs
- Note: It is IMPORTANT to agree to the terms of acceptance of this type of financial support – You must upload receipts to verify your purchases
