The event will take place on June 13 and 14, 2025. There is no application cost, and the Youth Event will cover all expenses. Take part to receive a complimentary trip.

Participation in the Youth Event offers the chance to win a fully funded trip to Strasbourg, France. Applications for the European Youth Event (EYE) are now being accepted. Participate in the EYE2025 Contest. The competition “Share What Matters to YOU” was started by the European Parliament. The European Youth Forum will oversee the EYE Village program, which will serve as a venue for innovation and activism. Youth and civil society organizations will collaborate to develop the events, guaranteeing representation and a range of viewpoints.

In the center of European democracy, thousands of young people from all over the European Union and beyond come together every two years for the Youth Event, or EYE. For those aged 16 to 30, the EYE offers a singular chance to be inspired, to engage in direct conversation with European Parliament members and other decision-makers, and to share opinions with experts, activists, and content producers. The sixth iteration of this event will feature a lively and engaging array of events, including discussions, workshops, visits, artistic performances, and much more, both within the European Parliament in Strasbourg and in the vicinity of the EYE Village.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the European Youth Event 2025 in France (fully funded trip), you must fulfill these eligibility criteria:

• Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 and residents of one of the 27 EU member states.
• During EYE2025 (June 12–15), the winners consent to travel and spend three nights in Strasbourg, with lodging and transportation provided by the European Parliament.
• Make an Instagram reel to showcase your priorities, whether it’s a straightforward event from your everyday life or a subject you’re deeply committed to.
• To be eligible, your Instagram reel needs to be uploaded between April 11, 2025, and April 30, 2025 (midnight CET).
• For your reel, you have to utilize the official competition audio, just as it is. You don’t have to listen to the entire audio.
• Send @ep_eye a direct message with your video if your Instagram profile is private so they can view it.
• This competition is not open to anyone who has already registered to compete in EYE2025.
• You need to keep your video content relevant.
• All copyrights for the video you publish must be owned by you.

Application Deadline:

The last date to apply for the European Youth Event 2025 in France for international students is 30th April 2025.

Selection Process:

• Following the competition’s conclusion, a jury will choose the six winners based on the video and caption’s originality, viewer engagement, and compatibility with EYE values.
• Instagram Direct Message will be used to get in touch with the six winners (be sure to check your message requests!).
• The six winners will receive invitations from the European Parliament to attend EYE2025 on June 13–14, 2025. The European Parliament will arrange and pay for travel and lodging for three nights.
