This program builds on the success of its first edition and is aimed at addressing the unique challenges that women entrepreneurs face in formalizing, scaling, and expanding their businesses. The 2025 edition brings with it an enhanced structure to ensure more tailored support for businesses at different stages of development.

What is the GNBCC Women in Business Program?

The Women in Business Program is a strategic initiative by GNBCC to help women-led businesses thrive in a competitive economic environment. Recognizing the barriers women face in accessing finance, markets, and training, the program delivers comprehensive capacity-building, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

This year’s program introduces two distinct tracks, each catering to a specific level of business maturity:

Early-Stage Track

This track is designed for early-stage businesses seeking to establish formal structures, improve internal operations, and begin scaling. It provides training on business formalization, record-keeping, marketing, and financial management.

• Who it’s for: Women entrepreneurs at the start or early growth stages
• Commitment Fee: GHS 500
• Support Provided: Formalization training, business model refinement, foundational financial literacy

Growth-Stage Track

This track targets more established businesses that are ready to scale further, attract investment, and expand into new markets, including exports.

• Who it’s for: Growth-oriented women-led businesses
• Commitment Fee: GHS 1000
• Support Provided: Advanced business development, investor readiness, market expansion strategies
