What Is the Western Union Global Fellowship?
The Western Union Global Fellowship Program is a fully funded virtual fellowship designed for social entrepreneurs and leaders who have experienced or are actively working with refugee, displaced, or underserved populations.
Through world-class mentorship, skill-building workshops, and global networking, fellows receive the support they need to scale their nonprofit or for-profit ventures that deliver solutions for historically underserved communities.

Program Structure
- Duration: August 25 – December 16, 2025
- Weekly Sessions: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM–10:30 AM MT (GMT–6)
- Weekly Commitment: 8–10 hours
- Immersive Start Period: 10–15 hours/week during the first two weeks

- Virtual Workshops
- Personalized Venture Mentorship
- Basecamp: A community impact workshop you will plan and lead
- Virtual Summit and Pitch Presentation

Eligibility Criteria
You should apply if you:
- Are from or actively supporting marginalized, refugee, or forcibly displaced communities
- Run a nonprofit or for-profit venture that is already operating and ready to scale
- Have secured or plan to secure a clinical or community placement for impact delivery
- Are committed to fully participating in all program activities

- A 20-minute session to explore alignment and vision
