Call for Solutions: 2025 Paris Peace Forum

The 2025 Call for Solutions is Now Open!
Since 2018, the Paris Peace Forum’s Solutions Hub has showcased more than 560 innovative projects, bringing together diverse actors to address critical global challenges. The 2025 Call for Solutions invites all organizations offering concrete, impactful initiatives to apply and become part of this growing global community.

Why Apply?
Selected projects will be featured at the eighth edition of the Paris Peace Forum, taking place in Paris on 29–30 October 2025. Benefits include:

• International visibility and exposure through a dedicated exhibition space.
• Speaking opportunities during event sessions.
• Networking with high-level experts, policymakers, and stakeholders.
• Eligibility to apply for the Scale-up Program, offering one year of extended support.
• All selected projects will receive the 2025 Paris Peace Forum label.

2025 Thematic Priorities

Applicants must align their project with one of the following themes:

• Harnessing Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Resilience
• Fostering Green Transitions, Access to Energy, and Critical Minerals
• Reinforcing Local Peacebuilding
• Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Peace and Stability
• Broadening Access to Sustainable Agricultural Practices
• Investing in Children as a Catalyst for Development
• Driving Digital Public Infrastructure and AI Impact for SDGs

Information Sessions

Two virtual sessions will be held to explain the application process:

• Session #1: 7 May 2025, 15H – 16H CET – Register here
• Session #2: 28 May 2025, 16H – 17H CET – Register here

Recordings will be available ahead of the 1 June 2025 deadline.

Selection Criteria

Projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Submitted by an organization (not an individual).
• Managed by at least two people available throughout the Forum duration (29–30 October 2025).
• Aligned with one of the Forum’s seven thematic priorities.
• At least in the pilot phase, with implementation underway.
• A specific, tangible, and distinct action—not general frameworks or academic proposals.
• Not seeking funding from the Paris Peace Forum.
• Must have an international dimension or clear potential for global collaboration.

Assessment will focus on:

• Quality (feasibility, coherence, potential impact)
• Relevance to the Forum’s goals: global governance, cooperation, diversity, and innovation.
• Geographic, thematic, and functional diversity.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants include:

• Governments and public institutions
• Civil society organizations
• Private companies
• International organizations
• Research institutions and think tanks

Application Details

• Apply via the online form here.
• Applications can be submitted in English or French.
• Multiple applications from one organization are allowed.
• Deadline: 1 June 2025 at 23:59 PM CET.

Participation Fees and Support

• Application is free of charge.
• If selected, project teams must pay a €1200 participation fee (pre-tax).
• Travel and accommodation to Paris must be self-funded.
• Financial aid is available for selected projects from low-resourced organizations, especially those based in the Global South.

Selection Process and Results

• All applicants will be informed of the Selection Committee’s decision via email by the end of July 2025.
• Final cohort will be announced publicly in late August 2025 on the Paris Peace Forum website.
• No individual feedback or updates will be provided during the selection period.
