Award Benefits For Daemen University Scholarships:
Daemen University is offering a range of fully funded and partially funded scholarship Programs for International Students from all over the world. Details of the scholarship programs are given below:
1# Merit Scholarships
Admitted students to Daemen University will be eligible for one of the following scholarships:
(a) President’s Scholarship
The first-year or transfer students will be awarded this award based on their academic performance. This scholarship is awarded on an annual basis. Scholarship will be renewed by achieving a minimum of 3.0 QPA and full-time undergraduate status. An Amount of up to $17,500 will be provided to first-year students and $12,500 to transferred students.
(b) Founders Scholarship
The Founders Scholarship is awarded to first-year students or transfers based on academic performance on an annual basis. An Amount of $15,000 will be awarded to first-year students and $11,000 to Transfers. To renew the scholarships, a 3.0 QPA and full-time undergraduate status must be maintained.
(c) Dean’s Scholarship
The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded annually to first-year or transfer students based on academic achievements. This scholarship can be renewed by achieving a 2.5 QPA and full-time undergraduate status.

Amount of award (Transfers): up to $10,000
(d) Distinguished Faculty Scholarship
The Distinguished Faculty Scholarship is awarded to first-year students or transfers based on academic performance annually. An Amount of up to $8,500 will be provided to first-year students, and an amount of up to $8,500 will be granted to transfer students. This scholarship will be renewed upon maintaining a 2.5 QPA and full-time undergraduate status.
(e) Alumni Scholarship
The first-year or transfer students will be awarded this award based on their academic achievements. This scholarship is awarded on an annual basis. Scholarship will be renewed upon maintaining a 2.0 QPA and full-time undergraduate status. An Amount of up to $7,000 will be provided to first-year and transfer students.
(f) International Scholarship
The admitted students for undergraduate and graduate programs will be granted this scholarship based on academic performance. An amount of $9,500 – $12,500 for the academic year 2025-26 will be granted.
2# Competitive Scholarships
Competitive scholarships will be granted to students who are selected for the Trustee Scholarships or Endowed Scholarships. Succeeding students must show excellent achievements in athletics or their artwork. These are:
(a) Trustee Scholarship
Trustee Scholarships are offered by the President to Prospective first-year students. Students will be shortlisted based on the quality of their application, determined by Daemen’s holistic admissions review policy. These scholarships will be renewed upon achieving a minimum of 3.0 QPA and full-time undergraduate status. Students will interview on campus or virtually for an opportunity to receive one of the following awards:

Number awarded: 2 - Amount of award: $24,000
Number awarded: 6
(b) Athletic Scholarship
Full-time first-year students and transfers will be offered these scholarships. The awarded amount is different for each student based on the student’s eligibility.
(c) Visual & Performing Arts Portfolio Scholarship
During the Scholarship Competition of the university, this award is given to two first-year art students whose work is judged outstanding by Daemen’s studio faculty. An amount of $3,500 will be granted to two candidates, and renewable will be made upon maintaining departmental standards
(d) Nursing RN-BS Tuition Grant
A reduction of 50% in tuition fees for registered nurses is available. Financial needs will not affect these grants and are guaranteed through the completion of the BS degree requirements.
