“Training Center management Specialist”
The training center coordinator will coordinate development of all training programs and ensure that highest level of training is being provided within the center. He/she will ensure adherence of trainings cycle to the standard operation procedures and to adequate methodological and didactical approaches for good training outcomes. Training center management specialist will also be responsible for the evaluation of trainings. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for organizational development of the training center. This is a two year renewable contract job.
Responsibilities
– Support of the organizational development of the Training Center
– Conduct training need assessments and related planning
– Monitoring internal and market needs for new training courses
– Implementation of the Operational Plan of the Training Center
– Initiation and coordination of annual planning of all trainings
– Development of tools and templates for the planning and development of trainings
– Ensure center adherence to training Standard Operating Procedures and annual training requirements
– Support in the design, preparation and procurement of training materials
– Manage and coach a team of trainers to develop their facilitation skills
– Application of known education principles and staying up
– to
– date on new training methods and techniques
– Implementation and analysis of the training evaluation
– Administration of central trainer database
– Contact person for trainers and participants for all questions on technical training implementation
– Contact person for all stakeholders, partners and consultants of the Training Center
Job Profile
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration ( MBA), Applied Statistics, Development Studies, or other related fields with 3 years’ experience in coordinating Capacity Building Programs, or Bachelor’s degree in Business administration (BBA), Applied Statistics, Development Studies or other related fields with 5 years of experience in coordinating trainings. Having coordinated statistical
– related trainings will be an added value.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
– Ability to lead, plan, and organize training activities, prioritize and schedule work, efficiently allocate assigned resources, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and achieve desired results.
– Articulate, persuasive communicator across multiple organizational levels
– Ability to communicate effectively in the English language orally and in writing, defend recommendations, negotiate solutions, and represent NISR training center in a variety of capacity building fora.
– Strong organizational skills
– Experience in living and/or working in a multi
– cultural environment abroad. Cross
– cultural sensitivity is crucial with flexibility and patience as strong character traits
– Working knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
– Hands
– on experience in coordinating and facilitating multiple training events in a corporate setting
– Monitoring and evaluation skills
– Strategic thinking and planning
– Knowledge of public policy process
