Key Accountabilities
Provide leadership in the implementation of the Bank’s business strategy at branch level and ensure branch alignment with the Bank’s overall goals and objectives to achieve business profitability
Develop a business development strategy for the branch drawn from overall bank’s strategy to ensure the branch meets the set targets
Monitor the achievement of performance targets for the branch to implement strategies to address gaps
Proactively source, grow, own and support team’s portfolio profitability by identifying new and existing customer potential in the commercial space, including sales opportunities and new product promotion initiatives.
Achieve personal production goals by expanding existing relationships and acquiring new business through referrals from existing clients, while utilising effective calling techniques and leveraging banks products and services.
Proactively research competitive threats/opportunities within the team’s market.
Make call visits focused on generating business from prospective clients.
Follow up with solid, on-time proposals and close sales with efficiency and efficacy.
Visit customers in their business premises and prepare a visit report which will be attached in the customer’s physical file;
Visit existing and targeted customers periodically to ascertain clients’ satisfaction levels and enhance business growth and profitability;
Adopt and implement CRM to record sales leads and cease opportunity to cross-sell
Comply with and keep abreast of established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations in the branch operations for monitoring of business activities
Maintain an effective risk and compliance self-assessment program and ensure any weaknesses identified are addressed in a timely manner
Assists with branch audits and reporting to ensure that the branch is operating in compliance with BNR banking requirements. Adheres to all Banking procedures and advises the Security Department of any security breaches.
Lead in maintaining and improving customer service by implementing Bank of Kigali’s customer experience standards to achieve customer satisfaction
Negotiate foreign exchange rates with the Treasury Department at the head office on behalf of customers
Monitor economic, political and competitor activity at the branch location and prepare monthly reports on branch to inform business intelligence activities and product development
Liaise with the recoveries and collections department to ensure effective collection and recoveries of debts owed to the Bank by retail and corporate customer at branch level
Motivate staff to ensure service delivery is performed in an efficient and timely manner and achievement of the branches’ key performance indicators (KPI’s);
Communicate management goals and objectives to all staff through departmental meetings and appropriate training to build capacity and equip staff with relevant skills
Respond to BNR letters of lifting sanctions from clients to clear them from the Credit Reference Bureau.
Experience
A minimum of Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in sales at an organization on the similar business, with two (2) years’ at a management position.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution.

Provide input into the development of policies, procedures and processes to ensure the availability of guidelines that enhance compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness;
Participate in the development and monitoring of the budget for the region assigned to ensure the achievement of profitability targets;
Develop a business development strategy for the region drawn from overall bank’s strategy to ensure each branch contributes to the growth of the bank;
Monitor the performance of the branches in the region assigned, to develop strategies to address performance gaps;
Reinforce Branch Manager sales efforts by providing guidance in development of sales strategies and in client pitches;
Coordinate branch network operations to ensure they are run in an effective manner and adhere to bank’s risk management guidelines;
Serve as a link between the Branch Managers and Operations team at Head Office to facilitate smooth operations;
Facilitate marketing and public relations activities in the region for enhanced brand awareness;
Monitor customer service levels in the branches in the region to achieve desired levels; and
Conduct performance appraisal of branch managers to ascertain whether goals and targets are met in line with the set-out strategy.
Experience
A minimum of Four to Six (4 – 6) years’ experience in sales at an organization of similar size and/or business with three (3) at a management position.

Senior Credit Filling AT Bank of Kigali : ( Deadline : 28 November 2019 )
Business Unit Credit Risk Department
Key Accountabilities
Ensure successful implementation of the credit filing project, including orderly filing of physical credit files, and scanning physical files and maintaining digital copies in the Document Management System software.
Continuous management and monitoring of the orderly filing system of physical credit files to ensure no credit file is misplaced or lost and foster accountability;
Put in place a system to record and monitor the movement of credit files;
Put in place the system and necessary infrastructure for safe custody of land documents, loan contracts, and guarantee documents in accordance with credit policy;
Maintain an accurate log of all client files in accordance with the set policies and procedures;
Scan, photocopy and bind documents used in the department as required;
Provide loan file and information to persons or departments according to credit policy, as and when requested to facilitate credit appraisal;
Manage the access to the credit records in accordance with credit policy and procedure manual;
File all correspondence with the customers and ensure maintenance of the filing system according to the records management policies;
Manage and monitor the ageing of credit files and implement the file destruction policy;
Respond to internal requests for retrieval of customer files;
Receive disbursed files directly from disbursement officers, record them and file them in proper order, maintain electronic records in the DMS, and keep original land title is safe custody;
Experience
A minimum of Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in Credit Filing, an experience in banking institution is an added advantage.
