Job Description
1. Perform a pre
– anesthetic evaluation, with ability to formulate an appropriate anesthesia care plan incorporating and scientific principles based on preoperative assessment physiologic
2. Prepare equipment needed for the patient to safely undergo anesthesia. This involves: Safe Surgery Checklist, preparing intravenous drugs, therapy administration equipment and a range of devices to maintain the patient’s airway and Communicating with the patient when they arrive into the operating theatre, Establish peripheral intravenous access, Applying anesthetic monitoring to help assess the patients’, condition whilst under anesthesia.
