- The main responsibility of the Unified Championship Schools (UCS) Project Manager will include:
- Ensure the coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities,
- Produce periodical reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) and corresponding quarterly action plan and submit them to the National Director at Special Olympics Rwanda,
- Take lead in developing M&E metrics and monitoring schedules for the project activities at the national level,
- Conduct regular follow up of progress on project implementation processes, especially ensure proper follow up of performance and impact indicator contained in the M&E of the project work plans,
- Ensure data collection and processing as well as their accuracy and their reliability for reporting,
- Ensure transmission of M&E report to Special Olympics Rwanda head office and other stakeholders as appropriate,
- Promote good working relationship and networking with School institutions/organizations to improve the UCS project
- Advise Local leaders and schools strategies for mass awareness during UCS activities and competitions,
- Take a lead and provide a periodical report (Monthly, quarterly and annual) and corresponding quarterly plans and submit them to the National Director at Special Olympics Rwanda,
- Provide project technical and managerial advice to the staff working in Districts and in Schools for the success of UCS project.
- Perform any other duties that is in line with your duties and capacity as may be required by the Program.
- Typical qualifications for a Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounts and similar field of education
- A Master’s degree in Project Management will be an added advantage
- Minimum five (5) years of working experience
- Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
- Experience living and working in different cultures
- Professionalism and demonstrated experience working with senior leaders in the public and/or private sector
- Prio working experience with NGO and donors funded project is required
- Familiarity with data analysis, modeling, statistics, and other analytical tools a plus
- Demonstrated fluency with both Kinyarwanda and English speaking and writing skills; proficiency with other languages.

- The main responsibility of the Unified Champion Schools (UCS) An accountant will include:
- Receive and review all financial and accounts support documents and ensure they are acceptable as per the books of accounts
- Capture and records of financial support documents for future reference
- Prepare payment vouchers
- Prepare periodic reports to be submitted to Special Olympics Rwanda as support documents are brought back from all expenditure related to the UCS project.
- Produce periodical reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) and corresponding quarterly action plan and submit them to the Project Manager at Special Olympics Rwanda ,
- Ensure data collection and processing as well as their accuracy and their reliability for reporting,
- Promote good working relationship and networking with School institutions/organizations,
- Typical qualifications for a Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounts and similar field of education
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Minimum five (5) years of working experience
- Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
- Experience living and working in different cultures
- Professionalism and demonstrated experience working with staff and local leaders/or private sector
- Prio working experience with similar tasks and responsibilities is required
- Demonstrated fluency with English speaking and writing skills.
- Ability to work with colleagues at all levels to the completion the assignment given.
