SciencesPo announces the Emile Boutmy Scholarship for the academic session of 2019-2020. The fully funded Emile Boutmy Scholarship is available for undergraduate as well as masters’ students.
SciencesPo created the Emile Boutmy Scholarship in honor of its founder with the aim to encourage and welcome excellent international students from outside the EU. Moreover, the scholarship awards candidates whose profile matches the admission priorities of SciencesPo and admission requirements of the program. As such, the Emile Boutmy Scholarship is merit-based, and also takes social criteria into account.
Fully Funded Emile Boutmy Scholarship 2020
For the undergraduate program, the Emile Boutmy Scholarship can take several forms including tuition grant of:
- €7,300 per year for the three years
- in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €5000 per year.
- or exclusion of the living grant
- €5,000 per year for the three years
- €3,000 per year for the three years
On an exceptional basis, SciencesPo may grant a scholarship of 19,000€ to cover the three years of College. Scholarship amounts are decided during the different admission juries.
For the master’s program, the SciencesPo may grant scholarship in the form of:
- A grant of €10,000 per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters
- A tuition grant of €5,000 per year for the two years of the Masters.
Who is Eligible for the Emile Boutmy Scholarship?
Candidates are eligible for the Fully funded Emile Boutmy Scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
- Students must be a first-time applicant, from a non-European Union state
- Further, the students’ household does not file taxes within the European Union,
- Moreover, the students must receive admission into the Undergraduate or Master’s program.
- However, candidates with dual citizenship(one being EU) are not eligible for the program.
- Nor dual degree candidates in Master’s or Bachelor’s are eligible. Students in PhD programs are also ineligible.
Furthermore, the candidates should note that they may not combine Emile-Boutmy scholarship with other scholarship (Eiffel scholarship, AEFE scholarship, BGF) unless otherwise decided by the jury.
How to apply for the Emile Boutmy scholarship?
In order to apply for the fully funded Emile Boutmy Scholarship, the candidates will require to submit the application form along with the following documentation.
- proof of income and/or documents explaining your family situation
- your CV,
- your academic record: details of all examination results obtained during the last three years of secondary education OR your official academic transcript(s) for all your years of study in higher education
- the language test(s) for an applicant with a conditional offer of admission
Deadline
SciencesPo will receive the application for the fully funded Emile Boutmy Scholarship for the undergraduate program until April 13, 2020. Students for Masters program can apply for the scholarship until 15 December 2019.
