Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25 (Fully Funded Deadline: 15 February 2024)

It’s time to study in Southeast Asia. The Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the applications for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25. This is a Fully funded scholarship for international students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The scholarship is to study Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs at Brunei universities.

The academic year commences in July/August 2024. The government of Brunei Darussalam scholarship covers all the expenses including Airfare, Full Tuition Fee, accommodation, monthly stipend, and health insurance for the full duration of the program. There are 5 Brunei universities in which you can study on this scholarship. More details are given below.

Benefits of the BDGS 2024

Exemption from paying tuition fees including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees for the duration of the program
An Economy class air ticket to Brunei Darussalam
Monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00
Monthly meal allowance of BND$150.00
Annual book allowance of BND$600.00
Accommodation at the residential college of the University/ Polytechnic
Baggage allowance
- BND$250.00 to a country within the ASEAN region
- BND$500.00 to a country outside the ASEAN region
Comprehensive insurance cover

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is open to all nationals.
Not exceed the age of 25, for Undergraduate, and Diploma programs
Not exceed the age of 35, for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs
Be proficient in English

Required Documents

Certified true copies of academic qualifications and other supporting documents (certificates, testimonials, transcripts).
Certified English translations of supporting documents
Certified true copies of Birth Certificate and Passport
References and recommendations from referees. (C1 and C2)
