Call for a Security Company to ensure the security of CinéFEMMES Rwanda: (Deadline 29 April 2024)
CALL FOR A SECURITY COMPANY TO ENSURE THE SECURITY OF THE CINÉFEMMES RWANDA OFFICE.
CinéFEMMES Rwanda is a Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) which contributes to the development of Rwandan cinema in general, but with a particular emphasis on women filmmakers in order to contribute to gender equality in this domain.
UBUFATANYE PROGRAM
CinéFEMMES Rwanda in consortium with URUNANA DC (lead applicant) and Troupe des personnes Handicapées Twuzuzanye (THT), have obtained a grant of the European Union for a three years program called UBUFATANYE ‘breaking barriers and building bridges. In general, the program will introduce persons with disabilities in different art forms, especially in theatre, radio drama and cinema, and reinforce their capacities. CinéFEMMES Rwanda will concentrate on cinema and over a two-year period will train two groups of 20 persons with disabilities in various professions in cinema.
The objective of the project
Contribute to the improved inclusion and living conditions of persons with disabilities in Rwanda, conform of the Convention of the United Nations on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CNURPD). This objective will be attaint trough different linked and complementary interventions of the three members of the consortium. The improvement of the capacities for sensitisation and advocacy of persons with disabilities (PwD) on their rights and inclusion will be attained by artistic productions. Their communication and diffusion capacities will be strengthened so they can plead better for the rights of persons with disabilities and their inclusion. Furthermore, the competences and networking of handicapped artists and civil society organisation of persons with disabilities will be strengthened.
In the framework of those UBUFATANYE program, CinéFEMMES Rwanda will engage a Security Company to ensure the security of the CinéFEMMES Rwanda office during three years.
The interested Security company are requested to send their:
- A certificate of RDB and
- A financial proposal.
All documents must be send before of midnight (24h) the 29th of April 2024 to the following e-mail cinefemmesrwanda@gmail.com.
Only selected Security company will be contacted before 2th of May 2024
The selected company should be available to provide the requested services from 15th May 2024.
