In order to encourage outstanding foreign students to study for master’s and doctoral degrees in our school, the “Chang Gung University Master’s,
“Implementation Measures for Scholarships and Bursaries for Foreign Students in Doctoral Programs” (hereinafter referred to as the Measures).
Types of Scholarships and Grants
The awards and grants mentioned in these measures are divided into master class training grants and doctoral class advancement grants
There are three types of scholarships and accommodation fee reductions and subsidies.

Aim and Benefits of Chang Gung University Master’s Program Scholarships for International Students
The award (based on a 2-year maximum) includes:
- An amount equivalent to the tuition and miscellaneous fees or credit fees
- Free on-campus accommodation
- Monthly stipend: NT$6,000
- Extra scholarship for outstanding students up to NT$12,000 per month

Requirements for Chang Gung University Master’s Program Scholarships for International Students Qualification
Pre-admission
Obtained one of the following certificates within five years prior to admission:
- TOEFL ITP score 500 or above
- TOEFL iBT score 61 or above
- IELTS band score 5.0 or above
- Foreign Language Proficiency Test (FLPT-English) average score 65
- Linguaskill Business score 145 or above
- TOEIC score 650 or above
Those who have not met criteria upon admission but meet them before the start of the second semester after admission may retrospectively claim the scholarships of the first semester, subject to scholarship quota.
Post-admission
Taking the required Chinese course in the first semester
Attaining an overall average grade of 80% or above in each semester

General description?
- Students who are awarded the scholarship, or grant, or both must take one Basic Chinese course in the first semester.
- The application, review of application and the award of scholarship and grant are on a semester basis.
- No scholarship and grant will be awarded to students studying beyond the normal study period of 2 years.

The subsidy funds in this method are supported by the relevant programs of the Ministry of Education or school funds.
Article 8 Implementation and Amendment
This regulation is passed by the administrative council, and Chen asked the principal to approve it before promulgating it for implementation, and the same is true for amendments.

2. Each school submits the list of scholarships to the International Affairs Office according to the allocated quota, and the list will be approved by the International Dean,
The provost reviewed it, and Chen asked the principal for approval.
3. The International Affairs Office compiles the list of awards based on the list of approved awards, and a self-saved announcement,
One copy will be sent to the Accounting Office for granting scholarships.
4. Those who are eligible to subsidize the GRE test application fee should apply to the International Affairs Office.
5. For those who suspend their studies, retain their enrollment, drop out of school or fail to complete the registration, the school may stop the scholarship.
If you do not meet the application qualifications, or do not meet the standards of each master’s and doctoral program, the school may revoke the application
Recipients are eligible for scholarships, and the recipients are required to return the approved scholarships.
Article 6 Measures for supervisory professors to manage examinations
Laboratory (research) work records are reviewed and signed by the supervisor monthly (80 hours per semester)
name for future reference. The research progress report is reviewed and signed by the supervisor professor every semester, and then submitted by each master and doctor
The Shiban is kept for future reference. At the end of each semester, those who pass the assessment of the supervisor professor will continue to issue part-time research
Assistant fee.
