For qualified students enrolled in the University of Edinburgh’s part-time distance learning master’s degrees, the institution will grant twenty master’s scholarships.
Every scholarship will pay for all tuition costs and be awarded for the whole term of the academic programme.
The strength of a personal statement and academic merit will be taken into consideration while awarding the scholarship. Those who have never had the chance to study at the master’s level will be given priority.
The University of Edinburgh is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, with registration number SC005336, VAT Registration Number GB 592 9507 00, and is acknowledged by the UK authorities as a “Recognised body” which has been granted degree awarding powers.
The scholarship deadline is 23:59pm BST Monday 3rd June 2024.

Please be aware that this scholarship is only available to students enrolled in programmes of study at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Descriptor Level 11. Certain academic programmes, like Master of Surgery (ChM), may feature the word “Masters” in their title, but they fall under SCQF Descriptor Level 12, making them ineligible for this award.
