About REMCO
REMCO is an engineering & manufacturing company that started in 2018 and owned by the government of Rwanda. REMCO was established to manufacture machines, equipment and spare parts that were mostly imported in sectors of Agriculture mechanization, Construction, Mining, Automotive, Energy, Defense and Health care equipment. REMCO also provides technical support for other local, regional companies through training, repair and maintenance services.
REMCO is focused on priority areas of import substitution, job creation and export-oriented growth as reflected in vision 2020 and Vision 2050. REMCO products are manufactured within modern and well-equipped machine shop and foundry facilities. REMCO uses advanced machines, such as CNC machines, conventional lathe & milling machines, CAD/CAM Labs and an ultramodern Ferrous Casting Unit (Steel and Cast Iron) to produce multifaceted products through Induction Furnace melting with no – bake reclamation molding system.
To embark on the above REMCO is recruiting skilled and competent individuals to fill the following position;

Job title: Corporate service manager

Report to: Chief finance officer
Responsibilities:
Administrative function:
- To supervise, control and coordinate activities related to Administration and HR;
- Oversees effective HR and administrative systems to ensure smooth functioning of Human Resource Management
- To supervise, control and coordinate Procurement activities for planning tenders that are likely to be awarded during the budgetary year, on annual basis, and in accordance with the annual budget of every project.
- To put in place policies in the area of training and refresher courses of the personnel;
- To coordinate and facilitate short term consultants;
- Coordinate annual performance evaluation of REMCO staff.
- Coordinate management contract of services and supplies that are given to REMCO;
- To ensure the application of the Procedures Manual.
Procurement and logistic function:
- Ensure the availability of annual procurement plans for all multilateral and bilateral projects under REMCO,
- Liaise with the Procurement and logistics team leader to ensure that all tenders are published and processed on time;
- Liaise with the Procurement and logistics team leader to ensure the proper management of contracts;
- Take necessary measures to ensure that goods and services are delivered and stored safely in accordance with provisions of tender.
- Ensure availability of all required quarterly, monthly, semester or annual REMCO procurement related reports
- IT Management
- Coordinate and supervise IT team.
- Oversee IT frameworks and polices
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, public or business administration, related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Post graduate in management, public or business administration, related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable
- Minimum combination of 7+ years of relevant experience in Human resource management and general administration, and procurement with at least 2 years in a managerial position, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team in manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge and progressive experience in managing human resources, procurement, information technology, management information/client tracking systems, occupational health and safety.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple, conflicting demands
- Strong critical analysis, problem solving, planning, decision-making, leadership, organizational and change management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to promote and model teamwork
- Excellent computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets
