Driver at NYAGATARE DISTRICT: (Deadline 28 January 2022)
Job description
– Ensure transportation of District’s staff in the field or ensure a timely delivery/collection of mail, cargo, pouch and other items with authorization of the logistics and storekeeping officer or any other concerned personnel;
– Regularly update the vehicle logbook;
– Ensure regular vehicle insurance, maintenance and servicing of assigned vehicle is done and timely reported to supervisors;
– Ensure supervision of the vehicle while in the garage;
– Meet official visitors at the airport and make arrangements for accommodation;
– Make field trips in/or outside the country;
– Prepare monthly summary of oil consumption and report to supervisor;
– Responsible for the day-to-day check of the general state of the assigned vehicle, ensure its cleanliness, perform minor repairs and
arrange for other related repairs;
– Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident;
– Perform any other related duties.
