Introduction
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federally owned international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. GIZ has worked in Rwanda for over 30 years. The primary objectives between the Government of Rwanda and the Federal Republic of Germany are poverty reduction and promotion of sustainable development. To achieve these objectives, GIZ Rwanda is active in the sectors of Decentralization and Good Governance, Economic Development and Employment Promotion, Energy, and ICT (Information and Communications Technology).
In order to implement its programs mandate, GIZ office Rwanda has to do the maintenance of its houses and offices in different domains such us:
1. To provide service of maintenance of:
- Roof in metal sheets
- Roof in roman tiles
- Walls ( internal & external )
- Foundation and retaining walls
- Floors and stairs
- Glazed metal doors and windows
- Wooden doors and built-in closets
- Gutters and downpipes
- Ceiling and outdoors ceiling
- Driveways and sidewalks
- Parking
- Drains and manholes
- Gates
- Fences
- Courtyards / garden
- Plumbing works
- Electricity works.
- Painting works
2. To provide advice in order to prevent avoidable damages that could occur to houses and offices.
Hence, GIZ is looking for a service company able to execute properly this works .
A service activity table has been developed with details of expected type of works to be implemented

- References and recommendations of similar works executed by the company in Rwanda or elsewhere outside of Rwanda.
- VAT registration certificate if available
- Latest tax clearance certificate
For the Financial Proposal:
Interested service Company will apply by using the above table (service activity table) and provide the cost per one unit. The cost must be in RWF and VAT excluded.
