Field trials specialist at RWANDA FORESTRY AUTHORITY: (Deadline 12 July 2022)
Job description
1. plan, prepare and organise trials, either on-site or in the laboratory
write research proposals.
2. monitor field conditions in close detail.
3. apply chemicals to trials.
4. design and develop experiments.
5. undertake detailed statistical planning.
6. balance the demands of new experiment designs with site limitations.
5. gather and accurately record data.
6. analyse, write and present reports.
7. liaise with technical development staff at all levels.
8. conduct discussions with research staff.
9. meet with clients and adapt their requirements to suit your work.
10. negotiate trials requirements with students in educational establishments.
11. help undertake demonstrations and presentations for commercial clients.
12. deal with a range of paperwork
13. ensure that work adheres to government legislation
14. work to a high level of confidentiality and protocol
15. oversee the running of research sites, from effective budget.
