Requirements for Imperial College London Anas M Tannir Scholarship Qualification
The Anas M Tannir scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following conditions by the deadline of 11:59 pm (UK local time) on Friday, 19 April 2024:
- Have a disability as defined at section 6 of the Equality Act 2010
- Have an offer of admission from the College to study a full-time three-year or four-year undergraduate course commencing in October 2024 in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Medicine or Imperial College Business School
- Demonstrate exceptional academic merit and/or potential
A disability is defined as a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities. Examples include:
- Physical impairment
- Vision impairment/Blind
- Hearing impairment/Deaf
- Specific Learning Difficulty e.g., Dyslexia, Dyspraxia
- Learning or intellectual disability
- Neurodivergence or neurological disorder
The successful candidate will be asked to confidentially provide evidence confirming their disability.
