Job Description

 Ensure that industry liaison trainings are properly delivered in collaboration with implementing companies;

 Take lead in selection process of companies to host training.

 Monitor training in Industry –Based Training.

 Initiate and coordinate all activities related to the Recognition of Prior Learning program and other interventions;

 Liaise with NESA to certify graduates

 Maintain database of the trainees.

 Observe gender balance and give a particular attention to vulnerable women during enrolment of trainees.

 Regularly update information on the private sector engagement in skills development and prepare appropriate plans on industry involvement for TVET students;

 Working closely with PSF (Chamber of tourism), RDB to identify IBT companies in hospitality and tourism sector.

 Work hand in hand with project manager to handle the daily implementation process of training.

 Organize & prepare the National Skills Competition in tourism and hospitality sector as stipulated in the project objectives.

 Ensure close monitoring of production units in implementing TVET institutions.

 Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor;

  • Master’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management

    Experience: 3

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management

    Experience: 5

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management

    Experience: 5

  • Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management

    Experience: 3

  • Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management

    Experience: 3

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Studies

    Experience: 5

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management

    Experience: 5

  • Master’s degree in Tourism Studies

    Experience: 3

  • Strong knowledge to work with TVET development partners.

  • Knowledge of working with PSF in Rwanda

  • Strong knowledge in tourism and hospitality sector

  • Good IT skills (Internet skills & Microsoft office skills)
