JOB OPPORTUNITY: INTERNAL AUDITOR

The minimum conditions to be fulfilled are:
To be of Rwanda Nationality;
To be at least eighteen (18) years old, and not more than 35 years;
To be of good conduct and to have not been convicted for the imprisonment of six months or more;
Not to appear on a blacklist of financial institutions;
To be mentally fit as provided by medical certificate;
To have not been suspended or dismissed from an organization for a grave mistake, indiscipline, embezzlement, violation of professional secrets or other case defined as grave failure to fulfill obligations;
Not to have been prosecuted or sentenced for the crime of genocide or genocide ideology and other related offenses;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To have a University degree in Accounting, commerce or related disciplines from a recognized university;
Have advanced computer skills-Ms Office, excel, MS;
Thorough knowledge of financial services/ finance industry policies and development;
Thorough knowledge and of regulatory requirements as relates to SACCOS;
Knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures including International Accounting standards and local guidelines; should be an added value;
Have Investigation and probing skills;
Have 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Have Leadership and Audit program management background
Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language.
Conceptual and analytical thinker, able to understand, analyze, and synthesize complex business and technology issues;
Flexible and adaptable process-oriented work style; strong demonstrated work ethic; personal time management skills and can work independently and in teams with minimal direction but shows a willingness to seek advice/assistance.
