RECRUITMENT OF DATABASE & BANKING SYSTEM MANAGER
Subject: Recruitment of Database & Banking System Manager
COPEDU PLC is a Public Limited Company licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda to operate as a Microfinance Institution, registered in the Office of the Registrar General with Company Code 100544626, P.O. Box 4053 Kigali.
COPEDU PLC would like to recruit for its IT Department, a Database & Banking System Manager.
The major Database & Banking System Manager Duties:
Maintain database results by setting and enforcing standards and controls;
Prepare for database expansion by studying plans and requirements;
Maintain database performance by troubleshooting problems;
To use specialized software to store and organize data;
Ensure that ICBS core banking system availability is not compromised through guaranteeing its timely accessibility;
Confirm and ensure completion of extraction and distribution reports into the designated system;
Ensure smooth transmission of files through file transfer tools to various destinations ;
Manage and monitor the processing and movement of transactional files from the various channels into and from ICBS core banking system;
Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front-end users;
Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly;
Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security;
Analyzing user requirements, recommend best practice solutions;
Other duties related to database and ICBS System management.
The profile of Database & Banking System Manager:
A0 in Computer Science with at least 2 years’ experience in the field;
Mastering Script technologies;
Server-side Script development experience;
Knowledge of SQL (Postgre SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, …);
Knowledge of software architecture.
English: technical, read and written.
Familiar with core banking business.
Mature and initiative, able to work independently and under pressure.
