Job at IPRC Kigali : Director of infastructutre development and maintenance unit (Deadline: 22 August 2018 )
Job Description
1. Coordinate and supervise the development and implementation of action plans related to the unit;
2. Coordinate the development of the Campus Master Planning for infrastructure development;
3. Coordinate the implementation of achievement of the College’s key corporate objectives in the development of the estate and its services;
4. Coordinate the preparation of working documents and drawings for campus Expansion/ or Rehabilitation ;
5. Coordinate the development of campus premises maintenance plans, and lead their implementation;
6. Advise the principal on infrastructure maintenance and extension matters;
7. Develop and implement the policies and strategies of promoting the sustainability of college’s facilities;
8. Control conditions of the college’s assets and equipment to ensure that they are well maintained;
9. Receive maintenance requests from different departments and / or units, analyze them, and react accordingly;
10. Manager contracts related to cleaning, and maintenance services;
11. Monitor utility bills (water electricity) and ensure that they are in constant supply;
12. Safeguard college environmental sustainability;
13. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engenering with 3 years of working experience or a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engeering, Civil Engineering with a 1 year of working experience.
Key technical skills and knowledge:
Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complicated technical issues and to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders

– Ability to manage simultaneous projects and to co
– ordinate a safe and efficient operating environment
– Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English or French
