JOB AT RWANDA STANDARDS BOARD : QUALITY INSPECTOR IN CHEMICAL FIELD : ( Deadline : 24 April 2019 )
Job Description
– Conduct inspections, sample and submit samples to the National Testing Laboratory or any other designated laboratory for analysis;
– Collect sample results and draft letters to customers;
– Discuss test results with his/her immediate supervisor;
– Submit inspection reports as determined by RSB;
– Compile material resources required at the inspection point and submit them to the immediate supervisor;
– Keep safe all inspection tools at his/her disposal;
– Perform other duties as determined by hierarchical
Job Profile
Bachelors degree in chemistry
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
– Knowledge of Chemical safety parameters
– Knowledge in Chemical products standards, laws and regulations
– Understanding Chemicals market requirements
– High analytical skills;
– Report writing and presentation skills;
– Computer Literate;
– Coordination, planning and organisational skills;
– Collaboration and team working skills;
– Effective communication skills;
– Time management skills;
