An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with proven project management experience to join our team in Rwanda as a Project Manager for our Sustainable Economic and Agriculture Development (SEAD) Project .

 

 

 

The Project Manager is responsible for the Sustainable Economic and Agriculture (SEAD) Project. The Project Manager is responsible for managing all facets of the SEAD project within the Country Programme operating framework, delivery processes, procedures and approaches. S/he provides management support to partners and partner staff involved in the implementation of project activities and any other staff assigned to the project by Tearfund and/or Tearfund partners in the SEAD Project. Liaises with external and internal stakeholders including and not limited to project beneficiaries, local authorities and government ministries critical to the delivery of the project outcomes and outputs. Is responsible for project impact tracking and evidence through systematic gathering and analysis of project data to inform project reports, project information bulletin and updates to meet project management and delivery standards.

 

The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Livestock Science, Animal Husbandry, Development Studies and/or any other qualification relevant to the two sectors in which the project is engaged in. They will have proven hands-on project management experience, programmes design, monitoring and evaluation. Additionally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skills in leadership, people management, training, communication and computer literacy particularly data management and analysis software.
