Job Purpose:

 

The job holder will contribute to business development by selling the banks products/services to existing and new clients in the Corporate Banking.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

Maintain client relationships, enhance product sales and acquire new clients
Be the first point of contact for customer‘s daily needs and instructions and ensure high quality and personalised client service delivery.
Liaise between the Bank’s Credit, Risk Control, Legal units and customers for transactions/credit applications terms, loans documentation, required KYC documents and complete legal processes where required

 

To qualify for this role applicants must have the following:

 

A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Banking or any other related field
At least 1 year of experience in conducting credit analysis & relationship management; exposure within a financial institution will be an added advantage
Proven skills in marketing & sales of products/services; experience with financial services/products will be added advantage
Strategic perspective and good knowledge of the Rwanda business market
Good computer skills (word, excel, database)
Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Job Purpose:

 

To lead the growth of liabilities and assets in the segment by putting in place a strategy to sell and cross sell the bank products to existing and new clients, provide support in the same segment, manage client relationships as well as the quality of the portfolio with a major focus on raising and maintaining a higher level of deposits and risk assets.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

Maintain existing relationships with corporate customers, servicing their day-to-day requirements, dealing with client service issues as they arise and overseeing day-today utilization levels in order to maximize revenues.
Maintain and monitor the allocated portfolio ensuring that quality and performance of all credit facilities is maintained
Strategize to meet revenue targets by cross selling and up selling.
Grow new businesses by acquiring quality credit deals and low cost deposits.
Write quality credit proposals and make extensive analysis to determine the financing need and repayment capacity of corporate customers under own portfolio.
Assist the Business and Retail Team to drive the value chain strategy by on-boarding vendors, suppliers and staffs of the corporate entities under assigned portfolio
Ensure customers’ need are adequately met
Liaise between Credit, Risk Control, Legal and customers to agree documentation terms on new transactions and complete all KYC and legal processes where required.

Job Purpose:

 

To grow the business in terms of the loan book, liabilities customer base and income from the bank’s Corporate and Institutional target markets. Effective account relationship management resulting in optimization of customer satisfaction, retention and wallet share through selling multiple solutions from the entire bank’s product range.

 

 

 

 

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

 

Assess the market and propose new sectors to tap in.
Grow the corporate banking customer base by recruiting new customers, and wallet sizing to the existing customers to attain high returns.
Lead syndication and ensure the Bank gets a sizable share of the wallet.
Liaise and provide leadership to RMs in areas of expertise, particularly in regards to provision of facilities to customers and customer recruitment.
Ensure that Corporate Customers are well managed to minimize their complaints
Generate non funded income by increasing non funded book.
To manage customers relationships to ensure retention.
Monitor and ensure that there is no excesses that are not approved.

At least 8 years’ experience in Relationship Management within a financial institution

Job Purpose:

 

To manage the portfolio through assigned monitoring accounts, compliance with approval conditions or contracts’ covenants e.g. securities, banking levels; identifying and reporting early signs of delinquencies; following up with both the ARMs and Business Unit Head for ensuring issues identified & reported are addressed.

 

 

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

 

Ensure adherence to the Bank’s turnaround time standards for processing, sanctioning and recommending credit applications;
Responsible for the quality of recommended credit applications;
Closely monitor the credit portfolio of the unit, initiate proposals for new facilities or facility modifications and grow a healthy portfolio.
Ensure adherence to all the Bank Policies and Procedures the Credit Policy, Anti-Money Laundering policy and the internal code of conducts, etc;
First line in managing credit portfolio and responsible for reducing credit risk and balance sheet optimization to secure high return on asset invested by ARM;
Visit customer premises along with the ARM to ensure good understanding of business fundamentals and come up with appropriate structure.
Pro-actively and timely identify potential problems on credit files and formulate appropriate risk mitigating strategies.
Daily, weekly, monthly monitoring and reporting on assigned loan accounts.
Provide insights on all covenants included in the loan files and offer letters with proper recommendation to ARMs and the Head of Department to reverse any negative trend when identified;
Full collaboration with the Account Relationship Managers in the portfolio monitoring, implementation of growth strategies and new sectors explorations
