Marketing Manager

 

Office: BUGESERA Industrial Park

 

Reporting to: Board of Director

 

What are we looking for?: We are looking to hire a Marketing Director who will be in charge of leading our company’s marketing efforts. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company’s brands. You will also be working closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help us maximize profits and market share. Finally, you will be in charge of organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

 

Scope and responsibilities of the role:

 

Overseeing the marketing department.
Evaluating and developing our marketing strategy and marketing plan.
Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts.
Communicating the marketing plan.
Researching the demand for our products and services.
Competitor research.
Working with the sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
Identifying potential customers.
Developing promotions with advertising managers.
Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Compiling lists describing our offerings.
Developing and managing advertising campaigns.
Building brand awareness and positioning.
Supporting sales and lead generation efforts.
Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.

 

 

Expected skills, competencies, and qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
Experience in marketing and running a marketing team (3 years of working experience).
Proven marketing campaign experience.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Strong copywriting skills.
Attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage budgets.
Professional and proactive work ethic.
High competence in project and stakeholder management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

What are we looking for?: We are looking for an experienced Managing Director to oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership. The Managing Director’s responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies, maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders, and driving organizational success.

Contract duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension

 

Starting date: Immediate

 

 

ALAMAHA FOR INDUSTRY is a company registered in RWANDA with TIN Number 107895828 and operating in BUGESERA Industrial zone specialized in home appliances (Refrigerator, Solar water heaters, and gas cookers).

 

ALMAHA FOR INDUSTRY is planning to invest Seven Billion Rwf and provide jobs to more than 100 people in the first year of operation and it is expected to grow at 10% annually.

 

 

 

Scope and responsibilities of the role:

 

Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice.
Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.
Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.
Overseeing the company’s business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
Supervising, guiding, and delegating executives in their duties.
Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations.
Building and enhancing the company’s public profile at events, speaking engagements, etc.

 

Expected skills, competencies, and qualifications:

 

Degree in business, marketing or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Extensive experience as a Managing Director or in a similar role (3 years working experience).
Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English, French, and Kinyarwanda
