Franchise Support Associate

 

(2 positions available in different locations)

 

Location: 1 position in Kigali, Rwanda & 1 position in Goma, DRC

 

Reports to: Managing Director Rwanda

 

Start date: August 2019

The Successful Candidate:

 

 

Jibu is looking for a growth-oriented, ambitious Franchise Support Associate with strong inter-personal skills ready to commit a minimum of two years to contribute to a rapidly expanding company making a meaningful social difference.

 

 

The Position:

 

The primary role of the Franchisee Relations Associate is to initiate, maintain and grow relationships with franchisees, corporates and government officials that will increase Jibu’s insight into activities and trends in our markets, enable strategic partnerships with external partners, and expand Jibu’s market share and customer base. The Franchise Support Associate will work with internal team members and external partners to monitor and support franchisee performance, manage projects and regularly report on KPIs and other key deliverables.

 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Develop strong relationships with Jibu franchisees and a deep understanding of their challenges and strengths
Monitor franchisee performance against targets and flag potential issues
Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes
Regularly track and report on territory performance, potential issues, and opportunities to the Jibu Rwanda management team
Assist and work with the franchisee to achieve coverage targets
Assist and work with the franchisee to manage trade loyalty programs
Participate in training and development of franchisees and their support staff
Plan and manage reports and evaluations between Jibuco and franchisees

 

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

 

 

Previous experience working as a Customer Service/Sales Leader/Manager or a track record of managing client relationships
Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field
At least 2-3 years prior working experience
Understanding of business and entrepreneurship in order to be able to coach franchisees and staff
Takes initiative, does not wait to be told what to do
Strong project management and operations skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Perfect written and spoken English & Kinyarwanda (for Kigali-based position), Swahili & French (for Goma-based position), other local languages a plus
Experience with a franchise model a plus
Experience working in a multi-unit business environment a plus

 

NOTE: This position is open only to Rwandan or DRC nationals or persons holding a valid work permit for Rwanda or DRC.

 

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
