I.T. Quality Assurance

Performing quality reviews on business requirements, developing standardized testing methods and strategies, leading execution of functional and non-functional tests and implementing quality testing and reporting processes in order to track and ensure adherence to quality software development process and products.

Key Responsibilities:

-Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams and ensures that the business requirements are complete, precise and testable.

-Works with project team to define and create overall project test strategy/test plan, plan test schedules or strategies and Identifies test resources, estimates test effort in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and ensures that the test strategy is achieved.

-Develop, document and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.

-Works collaboratively with the business units and project teams to execute and validate test cases based upon business requirements and ensures that the test cases are traceable to the requirements.

-In collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and other critical stakeholders, tune the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) processes, adopt tools and define re-usable templates in-line with the adoption and maturity of the SQA Framework.

-Define test process including required test activities and deliverables, conduct Test Readiness Assessment, establish test beds and ensure that test beds are available for all planned white box and black box testing activities.

-Engages, champions and collaborates with technical teams / personnel in non-functional testing including integration, regression, load, performance, security and usability testing.

-Prepare, share and review test results periodically, report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws and develop test acceptance reports for projects and software changes.

-Works with business units to perform post deployment sanity and regression tests and post-implementation review within defined period to confirm that the deployed solution works as per the business requirements.

-Participates in formulation and Implementation of Software process improvement policies and strategies for IT department.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

For the above position, the applicant should have;

University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years’ Experience in a busy IT environment
Experience in Software Applications and Support
Experience with software Quality Assurance processes
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Communication & presentation skills
Innovative and very good attention to detail
Experience working in a team environment.
Demonstrated high integrity

Digital Channels Manager

Reporting to the Head of IT, the role purpose is to lead and coordinate the banks Mobile, Internet, ATM and other emerging channels initiatives. The manager must demonstrate a strong understanding of and high regard for the Digital channels – Mobile, Internet, ATM and other emerging channels – as a business delivery channel for the Bank’s corporate and retail customers as well as for online merchant services.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

-Technical engagement in Projects that involve Mobile, Card & Internet solutions implementation

-Service Management – User and Customer support through issue tracking and resolution

-Continual Service Improvement by recommending and implementing upgrades or changes to the mobile & internet solutions for increased performance, security or business benefits

-System monitoring to ensure both maximum uptime for systems and transactional integrity

-Development and provision of both structured and ad-hoc reports for consumption by various teams

-Following established change management practices by ensuring that they are well tested and are rolled out in a manner that adheres to established business processes.

-Continuously analyze user requirements to develop and provide solutions

-Routine system administration and management

-Maintain up to date system and user documentation

-Ensure compliance of SLAs by system vendors

-Develop subject matter expert knowledge of Mobile, Internet technologies, ecommerce and other payment banking technologies

-Develop Business Continuity plans for both mobile & internet channel solutions

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

For the above position, the applicant should have:

University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
At least 4years Experience in a busy IT environment
Experience and Expertise in mobile and internet based financial systems technologies as well as SMS and USSD connectivity
Good grasp of emerging channel technologies, Applications and Convergence of mobile and internet channels.
Card Business Knowledge
ATM, POS installation & Monitoring Experience
Management skills required
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Communication & presentation skills
Innovative and very good attention to detail
Experience working in a team environment.
Demonstrated high integrity
