Job Description
• Controlling access to and manipulation of Mining GIS data.
• Using GIS in visualization to effectively map and simulate resource formation for mineral and Quarry exploration in Rwanda
• To utilize the GIS based knowledge in data analysis from exploration reports
• Visualization for geology: functions and strategic directions
• Conducting stress field analysis, model calibration and earth system modelling using GIS systems
• Applying GIS including 3D modelling to refine search areas based on potential source rock and fluid pathway distribution
• Participate in settling of licence overlaps and conflicts
• Participate in the Mining Cadastre System GIS package administration
• Prepare data sets and maps for license holders and the public
• FlexiCadastre tasks that involve GIS functionality (license shape changes and validations)
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor
