Writing scripts for audiovisual and print materials including brochures, pamphlets, billboards, TV and radio spots
Produce content for promotional materials.
Disseminate media contents via social media Perform any other duty as assigned


Job Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, TV Production, Audio visual Communications, Fine Arts, visual Arts, Multimedia, Media Production, with 3 years working experience in Broadcast media, or audiovisual production industry.

Key Technical skills & Knowledge required:

Proven hands on skills in computer media production applications,
Sound narration and TV/Radio presentation skills,
Translation and script writing skills, With technical training in Media Content Production

Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist the Camp Manager to ensure the protection of the community based in camp;
* Assist the Camp Manager to ensure well coordination and well management of the refugees in other to ensure their good protection in camps;
* Assist the Camp Manager to ensure security in camps by strengthening law enforcement;
* Assist the Camp Manager to ensure that the refugees are protected against gender based violence;
* Collaboration with different partners in camp with the aim of providing timely and appropriate assistance to refugees;
* Working closely with local legal institutions for effective management of the camp in line with Refugees protection;
* Assist the Camp Manager enhancing the good relationship between refugees and local citizens surrounding the camp;
* Actively participate in all activities organized in collaboration with the Government in line with the protection of Refugees in the camp;
* Monitoring and reporting monthly, quarterly and annually all activities done in line with Refugees Protection.

Job Profile
Master ‘ Degree, Political Science, Public Administration, International relations, Law, Social Sciences, and Humanitarian Affairs with 1 year of working experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting Environmental Risk Assessment in and around refugee camps or Transit Centers;
• Develop environmental protection responses and mitigation measures in and around refugee camps or Transit Centers;
• Supervise and manage the implementation of mitigation measures;
• Collaborate with relevant District officials during the Environmental Risk Assessment and the implementation period of mitigation measures in and around refugee camps or Transit Centers;
• Provide on time reports to MIDIMAR and ensure its submission to the donor to enable transfer of the funds on time and provide regular monitoring and progress reports on the ongoing mitigation programs;
• Report to SPIU Coordinator;
• Perform any other related task as it may be assigned by relevant authorities in the Ministry.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Chemistry, Forestry / Agro forestry with experience in Environmental Management Activities
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Chemistry, Forestry / Agro forestry with at least 3 years of working experience in Forestry/Agro forestry related and environmental management activities;

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct community mobilization and sensitization before, during and after the arrival of returnees to the District;
• Encourage Local Authorities to play a more active role in sustainable reintegration of returned refugees through the allocation of resources to activities and initiatives in which returnees themselves can make a contribution and also benefit from them;
• Foster linkages between all the partners in the Joint Program and the District representatives of line Ministries and Local Authorities;
• On the basis of information provided by MIDIMAR, facilitate meetings of returnees to discuss their challenges, offer advice and possible solutions;
• Collect data on vulnerable returnee households, monitor progress and propose assistance through the Joint Program;
• Coordinate and document the assistance provided to vulnerable returnee households through the Joint Program;
• Provide relevant and timely information on all matters relating to the Joint Program in his Districts of responsibility and attend regular coordination meetings in Kigali;
• Report to the Project Manager;
• Perform other duties as it may be required by his/her supervisor

• Assess and ascertain whether partners’ projects related to refugees are supportive of national and local development goals;
• Monitor if partners’ projects implemented with MIDIMAR are in line with guiding principles and the code of conduct defined by the Refugees Management Policy;
• Identify potential problems/issues linked with Refugees projects implementation for remedial actions and to elevate unresolved issues and problems to the direct hierarchy for resolution and final action;
• Provide information on lessons learned in partners’ projects implemented with MIDIMAR implementation for planning and implementation of future similar project;
• Participation in setting up a Monitoring and evaluation system for MIDIMAR partner’s project; related to Refugees;
• Propose corrective actions to the project implementing agent based on the above.
• Design new projects in line with the core mission of the Ministry;
• Provide technical advises on Refugees related projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Draft project proposals to be submitted to the SPIU Coordinator.
• Work closely and report also to the Ministry’s Refugee unit.
• Provide effective leadership and ensure the overall management of the projects in all its components by overseeing the technical, administrative and financial management of all refugees’ related projects implemented under SPIU
• Provide strategic vision, guidance and supervision to the refugee project staff
• Prepare annual work plan and follow up on implementation of project activities,
• Undertake periodic review of all activities related to refugee affairs
• In collaboration with the single project Unit staff, initiate refugee related project and participate in funds mobilization,
• Attend joint planning sessions with partners
